My husband and daughters keep me laughing and busy! They are a crazy crew and help keep me from being too serious all of the time. Life would be boring without their smiling faces and constant shenanigans.

Stark State College

Work

I joined Stark State College as Director of Marketing in January of 2015 after an 11 year stint as VP of Marketing and Development for Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio, Inc. My dream has always been to work in higher education, so when I saw the position open up I took it as a sign. In December of 2015, I was promoted to Executive Director of Advancement, Marketing and Stark State College Foundation. I have enjoyed adding the development component back with marketing.

Another dream fulfilled

Walsh MBA, Marketing

Another dream of mine has always been to return to complete my MBA. I started pursuing it right after I earned my undergrad in 2001; however, my husband quickly proposed, we purchased a home, and a family followed quickly. I am pleased to say I will graduate this May and fulfill this dream!

The craziness continues

Life in general

My daughters are now 11 and 13 and more active than I ever imagined. We spend all of our free time on the soccer field or watching a cross country meet. Both girls play soccer year round on two teams each, and both enjoy running. My husband and I are not sure what we will do when we don't have car pool to drive, games to watch, and the social activities of both girls to deal with on a daily basis!

I have been blessed with amazing parents who are always there for my family and me, as well as fantastic in-laws. My sister is my best friend, and she has encouraged me to obtain my MBA in the midst of all the crazy. I was proud to attend her graduation three years ago, when she completed her MBA with three busy sons and all of their crazy!
